Our Pittsburgh Bartending School offers a Professional Bartending Course that is much more than just a few drinks and some customer service tips. We go all out to make sure that our students get the most comprehensive bartender training program offered today.
Our Pittsburgh Bartending School Students will learn 175 basic to fancy cocktails, all of which are very popular, and highly ordered throughout the Pittsburgh region. We don’t clog your mind with drinks recipes that you’ll never make or that are not frequently ordered. We focus heavily on customer service and providing the best experience to your customers.
Our Pittsburgh Bartending School uses the R.A.M.P. Program offered by the P.L.C.B. to ensure that our grads know to handle every scenario that may arise from checking ID’s to stopping service.
We teach beer tapping and pouring with the Anheuser-Busch “Beertender” training program and the Guinness Beer “Perfect Pour” training program in addition to working with and drawing beer from real beer kegs here at the school.
The faculty and staff of our Pittsburgh Bartending School believe that you learn to bartend by actually getting to do it first hand, which is why you will make approx 1,700-2,000 drinks in total by the time that you graduate. This way you know your stuff, inside and out. Our graduation requirements are among the toughest in the industry. Our students need at least a 90% overall testing average in order to graduate, unlike other schools where a 70-75% average will do. We take great pride in going the extra mile in everything that we do, and it shows because our Pittsburgh Bartending School graduates are some of the best bartenders in the industry today.
Our Professional Mixology course is a forty-hour course which consists of ten four-hour bartending classes. Our mixology course can be completed over a one, two or five week period. New bartending classes start each week.
The graduate of our mixology course will have learned how to professionally prepare 125 traditional drinks as well as the latest trendy drinks that are popular in each city. Drinks range from the traditional martini & manhattan to the ever popular sex on the beach. In addition, the student will learn beer, wine, responsible alcohol service and professional customer service techniques. The school uses the Anheuser-Busch "Beertender" training program and the Guinness Beer "Perfect Pour" training program. |
