Bartending Blog

Elite Bartending School is now offering R.A.M.P. (Responsible Alcohol Management Program) Server/Seller Training to establishments and individuals in the area.
Having your staff R.A.M.P. trained is just one part of a five part certification process through the P.L.C.B. It is a voluntary certification, but it provides a lot of benefits to bar owners and managers.

You may choose just to have your staff R.A.M.P. trained, and not do the five part licensee certification. Just having your staff trained will be a huge benefit to you and your establishment. R.A.M.P. trained bartenders and servers know the law and their responsibility. They know how to check I.D.’s and when to stop service. In this day and age of lawsuits and ruinous financial penalties, can you really afford not to have all your staff trained properly?

Here are some of the great benefits to having your staff and bartenders R.A.M.P trained. For starters, there is a possible reduction in fines and penalties for serving a minor or a visibly intoxicated person if the establishment is R.A.M.P. certified. There is the strong possibility of a liquor liability insurance discount. Additionally, it gives ownership and management the peace of mind knowing that their staff is serving responsibly and following the law, and lets the public know that the establishment is an upstanding business committed to the safe and responsible service of alcohol.

Elite Bartending School offers convenient scheduling and a choice of location (either at the establishment or at Elite Bartending School). We are conveniently located in the south hills at 2961 West Liberty Avenue in Dormont. You can also find us on the web at .

If you are interested in taking R.A.M.P. or having your bartenders and staff participate, or if you are just looking for general information including pricing, please contact Chris Lund, Director of Elite Bartending School directly.
