Bartending Blog

I was really excited when I heard that Elite Bartending School graduate Alex Perry was hired at the Tonic Bar & Grill on Liberty Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh as one of their bartenders. The Tonic Bar & Grill is located across the street from the Westin Hotel right at the end of the Cultural District.

 

 

What an awesome bar to be tending bar in. The Tonic Bar & Grill has a really great Happy Hour every Monday through Friday from five to seven, $2.00 off all featured cocktails and $1.00 off all spirits and beer, that is a great deal and you can find Alex from Elite Bartending School, mixing your drinks.

Their famous signature drink is the Tonic Tonic which I have never tried. I’m not a huge gin and tonic drinker, but the signature drink I do love is the Goose & Juice which is made with grey goose & fresh squeezed orange or grapefruit juice, I prefer the grapefruit juice, but that is just my personal taste..

They have a wonderful Martini menu as well, I enjoy the Pomegranate Martini made with svedka citrus vodka, pomegranate juice and a fresh lime. Go down to the Tonic Bar & Grill downtown and join Alex from Elite Bartending School for Party Hour this coming weekend! .
